In every field some giant members make their mark and in search engine Google, Social media Facebook, in Phones Apple, and many other. In Video streaming world YouTube made its mark that too by Giant Google. In an apparent bid to take on Google owned YouTube, Facebook has rolled out “Watch”- a redesigned video platform for creators and publishers.
The social media giant launched its video tab last year in US which offered a predictable place to find videos on Facebook. “Now we want to make it easier to catch up with shows you love. We’re introducing “Watch”, a new platform for shows on Facebook. ‘Watch’ is available on mobile, on desktop and on laptop and in our TV apps,” Daniel Danker director of product at Facebook. Shows are made up of episodes- live or recorded- and a theme or story line. “To help you keep with the shows you follow, Watch has watch list so you never miss of the episodes, she added.
The shows available include “Nas Daily”,”Gabby Bernstein” and “Kitchen Little”. Kitchen little is funny show for kids who watch a video-game how to make recipe. Facebook also signed a deal with major league baseball to broadcast online live game per week. “To help inspire creators and seed the ecosystem, we’ve also funded some shows that are example of community-oriented and episodic video series,” Facebook said. We will be introducing Watch in US for limited number of people and later for a large extent.
All over another giant video streaming world is being ready for all of us with quality which has Facebook all the way, but YouTube will not be shattered by this upcoming video world because YouTube us unique giant world. However Facebook is making its way into video world exclusively. Hope it will be in success track as Facebook had.
